Growing up in sunny Jamaica, Dr. Janet Lee spent years accompanying her father to Caymanas Park, where he trained race horses. Dr. Lee would assist with the animals’ veterinary needs in whatever way she could. When her family migrated to southern Florida, she continued working with horses at a large equine veterinary practice and the local race course.
